Eyeglasses fitting – Web App

I made some tiny web applications recently, some of them are very useful and helpful to myself or my family and friends. Share them here.

The glasses are very expensive about 20 years ago. It could take more than one month’s salary to offer a good pair of glasses.For teenagers, the vision is not stable yet. The glasses fitting consumes more budget.

Fortunately, some manufacturers are providing online glasses fitting service now, with affordable price.

Here is the processing to make glasses fitting online:

1. Make optometry in the hospital.
2. Research the parameters of the glasses, find the fit one.
3. go online store to choose the eyeglass frame and lens.

For lens, if the user has high myopia, then parameter to make the glasses thin is preferable to make the weight of the glasses affordable.

For the frames, a user can use the web application here for reference:

Input the parameters into the textbox, click the button at the bottom, then the suggestion according to the inputs will appear.
