Gift received in the early childhood, is also a memory gift in all along the life. It can recall one being loved by family members, as a thread connecting the scenes when and where it is being used or played and who it is being played with.

Gift is especially being treasured when people is lack of living materials. A gift did not need to be expensive then, when children saw how the grown-ups making something by hands personally for them, that’s the moments of feeling being loved.

Gift is also a rare one when family members bought from another place especially big cities when they came back from a business or personal travel.

Now, when the goods made by machine are much easier to get or have better quality, people prefer buy the gift, and since the e-commerce is all around, no surprise any more for a return as the end of a family member’s traveling.

What’s still rare for kids now? Maybe the time playing with them?

Here is a toy you can make it with your kid or for yourself:

1. find a section of bamboo(a), one end of it should be a hole, paste a piece of adhesive tape on each end to avoid the burr
2. find a stick(b) with smaller diameter
3. find a piece of bamboo(c) or paper or anything plain and thin
4. find a piece of rope(d), with the length half of a meter or so
5. make the plain piece of bamboo(c) and the stick(b) together, meeting at right angles, please make a hole in the middle of (c) and let the (b) stick to it, to make the joint firm. please pay attention that if (c) fly out when turning, it may cause hurt.
6. twine the rope, one end is on the end of section of bamboo(a), and another end is on the joint of the (c) and (b).
7. put the joint (c) and (b) into the (a)
8. turn (c), make the rope winded the (b)
9. pull the rope far and near(let the rope go back to the joint along with the reverse turning of c), (c) will turn again and again. please pay attention that the pulling direction should going down, and the whole toy should be at least a distance of an arm far away from your head and chest, to avoid being hurt by the turning (c).
